Material Handler - Romeoville

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Romeoville. This role is essential for the efficient flow of goods, involving the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, tools, equipment, and products within the facility.


Shift patterns

• 1st shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 6 am to 4:30 pm

Pay rates

• 21.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Material Handler

• Commute time must not exceed 40 minutes


• Minimum of 1 month of experience in a similar role


• Ability to perform operations using units of American currency, weight measurement, volume, and distance


• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and work within standardized situations


• Previous experience at Geodis is considered an asset

Role for Material Handler

• Load and unload products to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas


• Read production, customer, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved or distributed


• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, or product code


• Enter and maintain accurate inventory records in the computer system


• Prepare parcels for mailing and ensure the warehouse area remains clean and organized
