Material Handler - Ontario

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Ontario. This role serves as the backbone of our warehouse operations, where you will be responsible for the efficient movement of inventory, accurately pulling products for customer orders, and ensuring that our supply chain remains organized and fluid.


Shift Patterns

• Friday - Sunday: 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rates

• 18.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Material Handler

• Warehouse or material handling experience preferred


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Desirable Requirements for Material Handler

• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or RF scanners


• Basic computer or inventory system knowledge


• Strong sense of urgency, eagle-eye attention to detail, and a reliable attendance record

Role Tasks for Material Handler

• Locate and pull products from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets or digital handheld scanners


• Move raw materials or finished goods to and from storage areas using pallet jacks or forklifts


• Inspect items for damage and verify SKU numbers to ensure 100% order accuracy


• Securely pack items into containers, apply shipping labels, and prepare documentation for outbound shipments


• Assist in unloading trucks, verifying packing slips, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
