CNC Lathe Operator - Chesterfield
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Lathe Operator to work with a leading manufacturing company in Chesterfield. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join a great shop environment with a supportive team.Shift Patterns
- Training Period: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM (base rate + shift premium of 0.50 USD)
- Regular Shift: Transition to 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) following training (base rate + shift premium of 1.00 USD)
- 19.00 - 21.00 USD hourly
- More than 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes
- Ability to read calipers accurately
- Ability to work with metric measurements
- Job tenure of more than 2 years at past jobs
- GED or High School diploma
- Operate CNC Lathe according to leader instructions
- Monitor the machining process for proper operation
- Perform machine start-up and end-of-shift procedures
- Change inserts when required
- Load and unload parts on stockers and assemble components as necessary
- Verify conformance of machined and assembled parts to specifications
- Inspect first-run pieces and spot-check succeeding pieces using inspection gauges
