Forklift Operator - Plainfield

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the supply chain management sector in Plainfield. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring the accurate movement of goods throughout the facility.


Shift patterns

• Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay rates

• 20.00 USD hourly

Essential requirements for Forklift Operator

• Knowledge of logistical supply chain methods and inventory control


• Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, and cherry pickers


• Ability to read and understand orders and accurately count products stored in different areas


• Must be able to work a full-time schedule and have dependable transportation to the job site


• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary

Role responsibilities for Forklift Operator

• Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery to move materials throughout the warehouse


• Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery within the facility


• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes


• Secure materials for transport and control operating devices like forks and hoists to stack items


• Complete all requisitions efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety
