The Assembler at Weil-McLain is responsible for assembling components and finished products according to established quality, safety, and production standards. This role supports manufacturing operations and ensures products meet company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards
- Report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company policies
