Batch Technician - New Albany

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Batch Technician to work with a leading candle manufacturing company in New Albany. This role is responsible for producing wax batches accurately and efficiently while maintaining precise production and inventory records.


Shift patterns:

• This position is first shift. Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm with overtime as required.

Pay rates:

• 19.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Batch Technician:

• Can you describe your recent manufacturing or production experience and any mixing, batching, or material handling responsibilities?


• Tell me about a time you followed detailed instructions or formulas—how did you ensure accuracy?


• What experience do you have with documentation, inventory tracking, or data entry?


• How do you manage changing priorities while maintaining quality and safety?


• Describe your experience working in physically demanding or manufacturing environments.


• What steps do you take to maintain a safe and organized workspace?

Role for Batch Technician:

• Follow batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately identify and measure components for each job.


• Complete all necessary paperwork thoroughly and accurately to meet company and customer standards.


• Combine components in tanks to produce and supply wax batches for fill lines.


• Maintain accurate records of each drum to track fragrance and other components used.


• Monitor inventory levels to alert supervision of potential shortages and ensure accurate control.


• Maintain the condition of equipment and tools while ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
