Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech II to work with a leading footwear and apparel company in Mooresville. This role is ideal for a self-motivated maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced environment.


Shift Patterns

• Mon-Fri 6am to 2:30pm, must be able to work overtime if needed

Pay Rates

• 28.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Maintenance Tech II

• Do you have experience working with PLC systems? Please describe your experience.


• Are you able to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints?


• Do you have experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings?


• Have you worked with both high and low voltage systems, including AC and DC power?


• Can you provide an example of how you handled competing or conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment?


• Which systems are you most experienced with: conveyors, sorters, forklifts, or another area of expertise?

Desirable Requirements for Maintenance Tech II

• PLC experience a plus


• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics and blueprints


• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings


• Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC


• Experience working effectively under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities


• Regarded as a system expert in at least one area (conveyors, sorters, forklifts)


• Highly motivated, a team player and a self-starter


• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to positively influence others

Role for Maintenance Tech II

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems


• Perform repairs on motors, pumps, conveyors, sorters, forklifts, and other industrial equipment


• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and facility equipment


• Utilize CMMS systems to complete work orders and track maintenance activity


• Assist with training and mentoring Maintenance Technician I employees
