At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a 2nd Shift CNC Operator to work with a leading company in design fabrication in Madison Heights. This role involves operating a Multicam router for non-metal materials, offering a great opportunity for those with foundational machine-operation experience.Shift Patterns
- Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am and Friday 2:30pm-8:30pm as required.
- Overtime is required during busy months.
- Training period: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.
- 20.00 USD hourly
- More than 2 years of experience operating CNC machines or routers.
- Experience with 2-axis equipment directly tied to Multicam routers.
- Ability to work with raw materials instead of metals.
- Ability to read measurements and follow production instructions.
- Ability to learn file setup and basic programming.
- Experience inspecting finished parts for quality.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and software navigation.
- Router table experience with shaping tasks.
- Shop environment experience in a fast-paced production setting.
- Operate a Multicam CNC router on 2-axis functions.
- Load, position, and process raw non-metal materials.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards.
- Follow production instructions, job travelers, and safety procedures.
- Assist with basic file setup and programming after training.
- Professional training on file setup and programming.
