Maintenance Technician - Plainfield

Introduction
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in Plainfield. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment and machinery throughout the facility.
Shift Patterns

• Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Must be available for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays

Pay Rates

• 30.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Do you have at least 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems? Please describe briefly.
• What types of industrial equipment have you maintained or repaired (e.g., hydraulic presses, welding equipment, automation systems, waterjets)? What kind? Where?
• Do you have experience troubleshooting industrial electrical or automation systems? If yes, briefly describe your experience.
• How comfortable are you using computers or programs to document maintenance work and communicate with the team? Give an example.

Role Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform and adhere to strict Preventive Maintenance schedules.
• Document work within the CMMS following established protocols.
• Identify and communicate machine issues clearly to management.
• Perform minor to moderate machining tasks such as drilling, tapping, and cutting.
