At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector to work with a leading company in the candy manufacturing sector in Elwood. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who wants to ensure product quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Shift patterns
- 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 11 pm.
Pay rates
- 21.50 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Quality Control Inspector
- Must have food quality experience.
- Must be local or near the area, no more than 40 minutes commute.
- Must be able to count accurately.
- Must be comfortable and proficient with technology, specifically tablets and data entry.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Must be able to read and write in English with basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable requirements for Quality Control Inspector
- 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Prior experience using a scale.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible for overtime.
Role for Quality Control Inspector
- Perform hourly quality checks using tablets to record and track data.
- Inspect pallets to ensure products meet company quality standards.
- Count candies and verify quantities for accuracy.
- Monitor product quality during start-ups and batch changes.
- Read and follow basic blueprints or product specifications.
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and food quality standards.
- Assist on the production line when quality control tasks are not required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
