Material Handler - Ontario

Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Ontario. This role serves as the backbone of warehouse operations, focusing on the efficient movement of inventory, accurate order picking, and maintaining a fluid supply chain.


Shift Patterns

• Friday - Sunday


• 5:00 pm - 4:30 am

Pay Rates

• 18.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment preferred


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly


• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8- to 10-hour shift


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Desirable Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or radio frequency scanners


• Basic computer or inventory management system knowledge


• Strong sense of urgency and an eagle-eye attention to detail


• Reliable attendance record

Role

• Locate and pull products from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets or digital scanners


• Move raw materials or finished goods to and from storage areas and loading docks


• Inspect items for damage and verify SKU numbers to ensure 100% order accuracy


• Securely pack items into containers and apply shipping labels for outbound shipments


• Assist in unloading trucks and stocking shelves while maintaining a clean workspace
