At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech (Production Facility) to work with DMI Skilled in Wharton. This role is essential for maintaining production efficiency through expert equipment care, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance.Shift Patterns
- Monday to Friday
- 1st shift: 7am to 3pm
- 2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm
- 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am
- 29.00 - 31.00 USD hourly
- Explain your production line changeover process, including tooling inspection and storage, while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Describe diagnosing and repairing an urgent electrical or mechanical machinery breakdown safely and quickly under pressure.
- Must have used checklists for preventive maintenance on components, lubrication, and safety hazards.
- Explain how you would train a junior mechanic.
- Proven mechanical skills via testing and observation.
- Proficient with Metric and Standard hand and trades tools.
- Experience working with air compressors, vacuum pumps, and performing welding or part fabrication.
- Knowledge of electricity and electrical control schematics.
- Ability to work in a role that requires high visual attention and potential Saturday overtime.
- Fluent in English; bilingual skills preferred.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Execute production line changeovers and assist in line setups.
- Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Train mechanic trainee workers on repairs and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts used.
