Forklift Operator - New Albany
Intro
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in New Albany. You will play a key role in the warehouse, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials to support timely production and delivery.
Shift Patterns
- 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
- 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
- 3rd shift: Sunday night through Friday morning, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
- We are specifically seeking individuals with Turret truck experience for all three shifts.
Pay Rates
- 20.00 - 22.00 USD hourly
Must-have requirements for Forklift Operator
- Previous experience driving stand-up forklifts in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven history of forklift operation and valid certifications.
- Experience using a forklift for loading and unloading trucks.
- Strong commitment to safety, including awareness of pedestrians and other equipment in your path.
- Ability to identify and report safety or maintenance issues promptly.
Desirable requirements for Forklift Operator
- Turret truck experience is a nice to have but not required.
Role for Forklift Operator
- Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery within the facility.
- Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery.
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
- Control levers and operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to transport and stack materials.
- Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes.
