Warehouse Lead - Fort Worth



At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Lead to work with a leading logistics company in Fort Worth. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of shift operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and standardized processing of outbound freight. As a frontline leader, you will drive real-time decision-making, manage labor allocation, and maintain strong cross-functional alignment to ensure operational excellence.

  • Sunday to Wednesday 8 AM-5:30 PM



Pay rates


  • 19.00 USD hourly



Essential requirements for Warehouse Lead


  • 1 year of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse, sortation, or logistics environment.

  • Proven ability to lead, train, and coach teams, manage labor allocation in real time, and influence employee behavior on the floor.

  • A strong track record of following strict standard operating procedures, auditing workflows, fixing operational bottlenecks, and coordinating with third-party carriers or drivers.



Desirable requirements for Warehouse Lead


  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, yard management software, or labor tracking tools.

  • Experience serving on a workplace safety committee or a proven track record of incident-free shift management.

  • Ability to interpret basic operational metrics like packages processed per hour or trailer utilization rates to make data-driven staffing adjustments.

  • The ability to stay calm, maintain a positive attitude, and make sound decisions under pressure when plans change rapidly.

  • The capacity to listen to associate concerns, build trust, and give concise directions during shift huddles.



Role for Warehouse Lead


  • Execute daily shift planning and labor allocation based on incoming volume and operational priorities.

  • Oversee the end-to-end outbound flow, including package induction, sorting, container routing, and final dispatch.

  • Manage yard operations by conducting routine walks to ensure trailer visibility and coordinate arrivals with drivers.

  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to hourly employees to improve individual and team performance.

  • Enforce strict compliance with standard operating procedures and implement immediate corrective actions when gaps are identified.
