At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Carpenter/Janitor to work with a leading company in the industrial automation sector in Novi. You will be working for the client in Novi.

Shift patterns

• 6am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday (with some Saturdays based on work load)

Pay rates

• 17.00 - 18.00 USD hourly

Requirements

Essential requirements for Carpenter/Janitor:

• Experience using hand and power tools for facility maintenance and repairs.
• Proven ability to handle cleaning duties in busy professional environments.
• Strong organizational skills to balance carpentry and cleaning tasks safely.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, hospital, or school cleaning roles.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to unexpected spills or maintenance needs.

Your role for Carpenter/Janitor

• Perform basic carpentry repairs and maintenance on facility structures.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete wood-based projects and repairs.
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Execute daily cleaning routines including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Manage waste disposal and sanitize high-touch surfaces and common areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and cleaning emergencies throughout the facility.
