At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Selector Perishables to work with a leading wholesale distribution center in Rocky Hill. This role involves accurately picking products and building pallets in a temperature-controlled environment, ranging from coolers to freezers, while ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.


Shift Patterns:

• 8:00am - 6:00pm Sunday to Wednesday


• 8:00am - 6:00pm Wednesday to Saturday


• Shifts and hours may vary depending on operational needs.

Pay Rates:

• 22.00 USD hourly

Must-have Requirements for Selector Perishables:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks


• Steel toe boots are required


• Previous experience at this company is a plus

Desirable Requirements for Selector Perishables:

• High school diploma or GED


• Previous warehouse or receiving experience


• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Role for Selector Perishables:

• Build pallets accurately according to customer specifications with labels facing out


• Verify products against pick tickets and case labels


• Operate material handling equipment safely after training


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility


• Report inventory discrepancies promptly to supervisors


• Ensure all pallets are wrapped and stacked for safe transport


• Adhere to all food safety and housekeeping standards
