Material Handler - Elwood

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics provider in Elwood. This role is based in a candy warehouse, supporting daily production and warehouse operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.


Shift patterns

• 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 11 pm

Pay rates

• 21.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Material Handler

• Commute must be 40 minutes or less


• Steel toe shoes are required


• Ability to lift and move materials weighing 30–50 lbs


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production line environment


• Strong attention to detail and organization


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods


• Team-oriented with good communication skills


• Strict hygiene policy: no nails, nail polish, eyelashes, or visible piercings

Desirable requirements for Material Handler

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment as a material handler


• Reliable and punctual


• Team player with a positive attitude

Role tasks for Material Handler

• Feed production lines with candy, ingredients, and packaging materials to maintain continuous workflow


• Support production lines to prevent downtime


• Break down pallets and boxes, sort products, and stage materials for production or storage


• Restock supplies such as labels, wrappers, and packaging components


• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and dispose of waste
