Material Handler - Elwood

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Elwood. This role is based in a candy warehouse, supporting daily production and warehouse operations by ensuring all materials, products, and supplies are available and properly organized. This is a line-based role, working directly alongside production lines to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Shift Patterns

• 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm to 7 am

Pay Rates

• 21.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Material Handler

• Commute must not be more than 40 minutes


• Steel toe shoes required


• Ability to lift and move materials up to 30–50 lbs


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production line environment


• Strong attention to detail and organization


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods


• Team-oriented with good communication skills


• No nails, nail polish, eye lashes, or visible piercings allowed

Desirable Requirements for Material Handler

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment as a material handler


• Reliable and punctual


• Team player with a positive attitude

Role for Material Handler

• Feed production lines with candy, ingredients, and packaging materials


• Work on and around the production line to support ongoing operations and prevent downtime


• Break down pallets and boxes, sort products, and stage materials for production or storage


• Restock supplies such as boxes, labels, wrappers, and other packaging components


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and production floor


• Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts
