MIG Welder - Detroit

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a MIG Welder to work with DMC Service Group in Detroit. This role involves welding racks and various metal components while maintaining high production and quality standards.
Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm (Monday-Friday)
• 2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Pay Rates

• 20.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Ability to perform consistent, structurally sound MIG welds on mild steel and similar metals.
• Ability to read work instructions, follow fabrication requirements, and production guidelines accurately.
• Must have own PPE, including a helmet and gloves.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with production welding
• Fabrication skills
• Blueprint reading
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Role Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on racks, frames, and other metal materials
• Inspect welded parts for accuracy, quality, and proper weld penetration
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, gauges, and calipers
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
