Introduction
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Facilities General Labor associate to work with a leading manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This role supports the day-to-day cleanliness, maintenance, and safe operation of the facility.
Shift Patterns

• Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with potential overtime.

Pay Rates

• 17.00 - 18.00 USD hourly

Must-have Requirements

• Previous experience in general labor, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance.
• Comfortable working around machinery, oils, coolants, and lubricants and cleaning industrial spills and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and regularly stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout your shift.
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with industrial floor scrubbers and basic preventive maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-focused mindset.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain coolant, hydraulic oil, and lubricant levels in production equipment.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning of coolant tanks and filtration systems.
• Operate industrial floor scrubbers and facility trash compactors.
• Clean oil, coolant, and hydraulic spills according to safety procedures.
• Organize, label, and inventory lubricants and fluids throughout the facility.
