Requirements

Requirements for Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred). 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3–5 years in leadership. Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and experience with Mexican accounting/tax regulations. Proven team leadership (10+). Bilingual English/Spanish. ERP experience, advanced Excel, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and ability to work across cultures in a fast‑paced environment.

Your role for Controller

• Oversee all financial operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Mexican tax regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of over ten accounting and finance professionals.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure financial integrity and accuracy.
• Maintain and optimize ERP systems and financial workflows for maximum efficiency.
• Provide administrative support and clerical oversight for financial documentation and record-keeping.
• Ensure accurate data entry and filing of financial records within the clerical department.
• Facilitate cross-departmental communication to streamline clerical and financial processes.
