At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Yard Driver to work with a leading logistics company in Ontario. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our distribution center by managing trailer movements and yard organization.
Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday 6AM to 2:30PM

Pay Rates
24.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements

• 2-3 years experience as Yard Driver
• Clean Driving Record

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid License: Standard driver’s license or a Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Safety Knowledge: Understanding of OSHA rules and safe trailer coupling
• Physical Ability: Able to climb in and out of cabs frequently and lift up to 50 pounds
• Communication: Clear speaking skills for working with gate guards and warehouse teams

Role

• Safely operate terminal tractors to move semi-trailers and containers
• Position trailers at dock doors to ensure efficient loading and unloading
• Manage yard organization to maintain a safe and orderly environment
• Reduce terminal congestion through proactive trailer management
