- Schedule: Day Shift 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Days: Monday - Friday
Pay Rates
- 25.00 - 30.00 USD hourly
Must-have requirements for CNC Machinist
- What CNC machines and controls have you operated, and how many years of experience do you have?
- How proficient are you with CAM programming, G-code, and M-code edits?
- Can you explain your process for setups, tooling, offsets, and in-process inspections?
- What measuring tools do you use, and how do you ensure parts stay within tolerance?
- Describe a time you troubleshot a machining issue and resolved it effectively?
Desirable requirements for CNC Machinist
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls; familiarity with GD&T; ability to optimize toolpaths; background in aerospace or automotive machining; knowledge of 5S or lean practices; comfort working with various metals; basic machine repair skills; experience mentoring junior machinists; and proficiency with CMM or advanced inspection tools.
Role for CNC Machinist
- Operate CNC lathe machines and other related equipment to produce precision parts.
- Program CNC machines using CAM software and interpret G & M codes.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and perform in-process inspections to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
