- Day Shift 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Monday - Friday
Pay Rates
- 25.00 - 30.00 USD hourly
Requirements
As a CNC Machinist you will need to have:
- Experience operating CNC machines and controls, with demonstrated years of experience.
- Proficiency in CAM programming, G‑code, and M‑code edits.
- Ability to perform setups, manage tooling, set offsets, and conduct in‑process inspections.
- Skill in using measuring tools and ensuring parts remain within tolerance.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues effectively.
As a CNC Machinist, it would be desirable to have:
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to optimize toolpaths for efficiency.
- Background in aerospace or automotive machining.
- Knowledge of 5S or lean manufacturing practices.
- Comfort working with various types of metals.
- Basic machine repair skills.
- Experience mentoring junior machinists.
- Proficiency with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) or advanced inspection tools.
Role of a CNC Machinist
- Operating and tending CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Performing routine checks and quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment according to 5S principles.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Assisting in the training and development of new team members.
