Tool Crib Attendant - Shelby Twp

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Tool Crib Attendant to work with Rassey Skilled in Shelby Twp. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support manufacturing operations by managing tooling, MRO inventory, and supplier coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while supporting Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams.
Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift: 7am to 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Pay Rates

• 20.00 - 23.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Tool Crib Attendant

• Ability to manage tool crib and MRO inventory with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and maintain proper min/max levels.
• Ability to receive, store, organize, issue, and track tools and indirect materials.
• Ability to inspect tools for wear or damage and support basic repairs and calibration.
• Ability to use inventory software and maintain accurate records and requisitions.

Desirable Requirements for Tool Crib Attendant

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to prepare requisitions for tool repair, replacement, or disposal
• Ability to handle shipping/receiving of tools and materials

Role for Tool Crib Attendant

• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Monitor usage trends and manage min/max levels for MRO materials.
• Inspect tools for wear, damage, or defects and perform basic repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and inventory availability.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, repairs, and shipping/receiving transactions.

Location: Shelby Twp. This position is based in a manufacturing environment requiring on-site presence.
