At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Romeoville. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of materials, tools, and products within the warehouse environment.

Shift

• 1st shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 6 am to 4:30 pm

Pay Rates

• 17.00 USD hourly

Requirements for Material Handler

• Minimum of 1 month of previous warehouse experience


• Ability to perform basic calculations involving currency, weight, volume, and distance


• Capability to follow simple, standardized instructions with minimal variables


• Commute time must be 40 minutes or less


• Previous experience at Geodis is highly valued

Role for Material Handler

• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas


• Read production schedules and work orders to determine material movement


• Sort and organize inventory on racks and shelves according to product codes


• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems


• Prepare parcels for shipping and ensure the warehouse area remains clean and organized
