Mechanic II - Livonia

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Mechanic II to work with a leading company in the Automotive sector in Livonia. You will be working for the client in Livonia.

Shift Patterns

• 6AM to 2:30PM M-F with some OT available during the week and on Saturdays depending on workload

Pay Rates

• 24.00 - 25.00 USD hourly

Requirements

As a Mechanic II you will need to have:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a mechanic.
• Experience modifying cars and trucks in a prototype environment.
• A rolling tool box with mechanic tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• A valid driver's license.
• Availability to work overtime.
• Availability to work at locations in Allen Park, Dearborn or Romeo.
• Previous experience working for Roush and willingness to return.

As a Mechanic II, it would be desirable to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly and ability to operate shop equipment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.

Role of a Mechanic II

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
• Inspecting vehicle systems, including brake, steering, and other important parts.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Documenting all maintenance and repair work performed.
