At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics company in Memphis. You will be responsible for the day-to-day material handling inside a fast-paced distribution facility.Shift
- Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mandatory OT and weekends as needed)
- 19.00 USD hourly
- Minimum of 1 year of recent stand-up forklift experience.
- Ability to follow safety rules and operate machinery cautiously.
- Ability to successfully pass an on-site practical forklift evaluation and safety certification.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 50–75 lbs throughout the shift when necessary.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse logistics or supply chain inventory software.
- Basic math and documentation skills for accurate inventory tracking.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Safely and proficiently operate stand-up forklifts to transport materials through narrow aisles.
- Efficiently move, stack, stage, and organize incoming and outgoing product shipments from pallets, skids, and trailers.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and condition of goods against order documentation utilizing RF scanners.
- Conduct mandatory daily pre-operational equipment safety checks and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work zone to uphold safety guidelines.
