At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Production Workers to work with a leading welding and fabrication shop in Detroit. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who wants to learn the metal fabrication trade while supporting a busy production team.Shift Patterns
- 6:00am to 2:30pm Mon-Fri
- 14.00 USD hourly
- Work boots are required for this position.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all OSHA and company safety rules.
- Clean, deburr, grind, and prep metal pieces using hand tools, angle grinders, and power saws before and after welding.
- Load, unload, move, and stack steel, aluminum, and other raw metals safely using carts and hand trucks.
- Sweep floors, empty scrap metal bins, dispose of used consumables, and keep walkways clear of debris and safety hazards.
- Assist with daily basic equipment checks, organize tooling, and stage materials at individual welding stations.
