Quality Technician - New Albany

Introduction

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Quality Technician to work with a leading candle manufacturing company in New Albany. This role is essential in ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer requirements through rigorous inspection and quality assurance processes.

Shift Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm

Pay Rate

• 18.50 USD hourly

Requirements

• Tell me about your quality inspection or quality assurance experience.


• Have you ever identified a product defect or quality issue? What did you do?


• How do you ensure accuracy when following specifications or inspection procedures?


• What experience do you have documenting inspection results or entering data into logs or computer systems?


• Describe a job where attention to detail was critical to your success.


• How would you handle finding a quality issue that could impact production or customers?

Role Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance duties including wax batch approvals and sampling of incoming components.


• Monitor and report on the quality of in-process production and finished goods against standard operating procedures.


• Conduct performance testing on candles, including burn tests and wick centering checks.


• Maintain accurate records of inspection results in logs and computer systems.


• Collaborate with the quality assurance management team on data collection activities and special projects.
