At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to work with a leading warehouse partner in Ocala. This role is ideal for a dedicated and skilled professional looking to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Shift Patterns
- Sunday - Wednesday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Wednesday - Saturday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 20.00 USD hourly
- Proven experience operating cherry pickers
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. periodically during shift when necessary
- Re-hires are welcome if you have previously worked for ID Logistics through Job&Talent, Freight Breakers, or Balance Staffing
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment functionality
- Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling best practices
- Understanding of OSHA regulations pertaining to warehouse safety
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment
- Operate cherry picker equipment safely and efficiently to pick orders from high shelving units
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that items are selected according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns
