Cherry Picker - Ocala



At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Cherry Picker to work with a leading logistics company in Ocala. This role is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment where you will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient shipment preparation.


Shift patterns


  • Wednesday-Sunday 7:00am - 5:30pm



Pay rates


  • 20.00 USD hourly



Must-have requirements for Cherry Picker


  • Proven experience operating cherry pickers

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs periodically during the shift

  • Eligibility for re-hire if previously employed by the company through Job&Talent, Freight Breakers, or Balance Staffing



Desirable requirements for Cherry Picker


  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment

  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment functionality

  • Familiarity with order picking processes, materials handling best practices, and OSHA safety regulations

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment



Role for Cherry Picker


  • Operate cherry picker equipment safely and efficiently to pick orders from high shelving units

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and pallet jacks

  • Perform order picking tasks accurately according to specifications

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards

  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
