At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift operator to work with a leading company in the logistics sector in Elwood. You will be working for the client in Elwood.

Shift patterns

• Shift:
  1st shift Monday to Friday
  7 am to 3 pm

Pay rates

• 21.00 USD hourly

Requirements

Essential requirements for Forklift operator:

• Commute may not be longer than 40 minutes
• Have you previously worked here? If so what agency did you work for and around how long ago?
• Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience required
• Reach truck experience preferred
• Experience with Raymond equipment is a plus
• Must pass internal forklift certification assessment (no training provided)
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment (not a traditional distribution center)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, and physically active setting
• Ability to work on the line when needed

Desirable requirements for Forklift operator:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or candy production environment
• Familiarity with line-based warehouse operations
• Strong attendance and reliability in high-demand environments
• Experience working with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or food safety standards
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Your role for Forklift operator

• Operate stand-up forklifts and reach trucks to move materials safely within the facility.
• Support production lines by ensuring timely delivery and removal of products.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Perform physical tasks and assist on the production line as required by operational needs.
• Complete internal certification assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
