At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Machine Builder/Machinist to work with a leading manufacturing company in Chesterfield. This full-time, day-shift role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong mechanical and machining expertise.Shift Patterns
- 6:00AM to 4:30PM Monday thru Friday
- Overtime available on Saturday when required
- 25.00 - 30.00 USD hourly
- Must have machining experience: Proven ability to operate mills, lathes, and precision machining equipment.
- Must have machine-building skills: Hands-on experience assembling, fitting, and building mechanical components.
- Must have mechanical aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and fabrication processes.
- Must have blueprint reading ability: Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Must have reliable attendance: Consistent dependability for full-time day shift with overtime.
- CNC experience: Familiarity with CNC mills or lathes for precision machining.
- Hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge: Understanding of basic fluid power systems used in machine builds.
- Electrical troubleshooting: Ability to assist with wiring, sensors, or machine controls.
- Welding ability: MIG/TIG welding skills for fabrication or repair work.
- Mechanical assembly experience: Experience assembling complex mechanical systems or tooling.
- Advanced blueprint interpretation: Ability to read more advanced mechanical drawings or GD&T.
- Mechanical troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues during builds.
- Assemble, fit, and build mechanical components and systems according to specifications.
- Perform precision machining tasks using mills, lathes, and related equipment.
- Support fabrication, fitting, and repair of parts as needed.
- Read and follow mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and workmanship in all tasks.
