Forklift operator - Uxbridge

Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with a leading wholesale company in Uxbridge. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring that merchandise is handled, stored, and distributed accurately.


Shift patterns

• 1st Shift: Tue-Friday 5AM- 3:30PM


• 3rd Shift: Sat- Monday 6AM- 6PM


• Final schedule will be assigned during the onboarding

Pay rates

• 18.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Forklift operator

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary


• Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule


• Must have dependable transportation to and from job site

Desirable requirements for Forklift operator

• Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods and inventory control


• Previous experience with forklift, pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment


• Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers

Role for Forklift operator

• Accurately receive and unload trailers


• Perform physical breakdown of merchandise and build and stretch wrap pallets


• Operate powered equipment including forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments


• Coordinate inbound and outbound storage freight and shuttle merchandise to shipping and laydown areas


• Use hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed
