Requirements

As a Forklift Operator you will need to have:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE (including steel-toed shoes) and perform physically demanding work (lifting, standing, bending).
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with equipment such as sit-down, stand-up, and electric pallet jacks.
• Willingness to train on second shift before moving to first shift.

Role of a Forklift Operator

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from trucks or other vehicles.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment.
• Perform routine checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment.
