Requirements

Essential requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Safely operating powered industrial trucks (such as sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, reach truck, or electric pallet jack

Skills and experience for Forklift Operator:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and stack products.
• Move materials to and from storage racks, production areas, staging zones, and trailers.
• Inspect forklift before and after use (safety checks, battery/fuel levels, forks, lights, horn, etc.).
• Follow all OSHA, facility, and equipment safety guidelines.
• Perform accurate inventory moves and record material transactions in systems (RF scanner, WMS, etc.).
• Report any equipment damage, safety issues, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.

• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock rotation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Work with warehouse associates and leadership to meet daily production targets.
• Follow pick tickets, manifests, or instructions to pull and deliver materials.
• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, or unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities for Forklift Operator

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments with precision and care.
• Organize inventory in storage racks to maximize space and accessibility.
