Forklift Driver - Sterling Heights
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift Driver to work with a leading company in the automotive manufacturing sector in Sterling Heights. You will be working for the client in Sterling Heights.
Shift patterns
- Shift: 2nd Shift 5:00pm to 3:30am Tuesday to Friday
Pay rates
- 18.30 USD hourly
Requirements
Requirements for Forklift Driver:
- Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods, inventory control with previous Forklift experience
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
Responsibilities for Forklift Driver
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload shipments while verifying the accuracy of goods against order documentation.
- Maintain organized storage areas and perform regular inventory counts to ensure data integrity.
- Utilize pallet wrap machines and other warehouse tools to prepare products for transport.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and logistical supply chain procedures within the facility.
