Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Picking Associate / Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Smyrna. This role is essential for ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, built, and prepared for delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift - 5:00am to 1:00pm Mon thru Fri; Tues thru Sat

Pay Rates

• 19.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs


• Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack

Skills Requirements

• Sufficient formal or informal education to ensure the ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance


• Ability to obtain a valid pallet jack certification


• Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification as needed


• Ability to provide attention to detail


• Proper lifting techniques

Role

• Manage and build pick ticket orders accurately


• Shrink wrap products to pallets for secure transport


• Stage completed pallets in designated warehouse areas


• Consolidate and re-stock product and shells


• Clean and organize the warehouse environment


• Move trucks as needed to facilitate loading and unloading


• Fulfill orders for customer pickup


• Build vertical pallets as required by order specifications


• Meet established productivity and efficiency requirements
