Shift Patterns
- 1st shift - 6:30 to 3pm, overtime as needed
Pay Rates
- 25.00 USD hourly
Requirements
As a Die Setter you will need to have:
- Minimum of 3 years of die setting experience in metal stamping
- Experience setting small progressive stamping dies
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing production facility
- High School Diploma or GED
As a Die Setter, it would be desirable to have:
- Experience in automotive industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tooling knowledge
- Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with production IT systems
- Knowledge of progressive die stamping processes
- Experience with coil feeding systems and strip progression
- Ability to set and adjust production equipment and peripherals
- Experience with measurement and inspection tools
Role of a Die Setter
- Install, align, and remove dies from stamping presses.
- Adjust die components to ensure proper functioning and product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on dies and equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize setup times and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues related to die performance and component fitment.
