Forklift operator - Fort Worth
IntroAt Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with Shipbob in Fort Worth. This role is for a versatile equipment specialist who will be the backbone of inventory movement, operating a diverse fleet of stand-up equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Shift patterns
- Wednesday to Saturday 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- 19.75 USD hourly
- Minimum 2 years experience operating Raymond forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks
- Prior forklift certification provided during walkthrough
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Experience in a warehouse setting with knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material handling
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
- Adaptable to working different departments per business needs
- Ability to take instruction
- Operate reach trucks to maneuver through narrow aisles and retrieve palletized loads from high-bay racking
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight using dock stockers
- Fulfill case-pick and piece-pick orders at elevated heights using cherry pickers
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and maintain data accuracy
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
