Quality Inspector - New Albany
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to work with a leading company in the home fragrance sector in New Albany. You will be working for the client in New Albany.
Shift patterns
- Shift: 2nd Shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm
Pay rates
- 19.50 - 20.50 USD hourly
Essential requirements
Essential requirements for Quality Inspector:
- Prefer at least 1 year as an inspector or similar position in which the individual was required to monitor and report on quality attributes of some product and/or process
- Able to comfortably perform basic math and dimensional or time measurement
- Able to use hand-held tools such as rulers and gauges to perform inspections
- Able to use computers and MS Office to do basic data entry in spreadsheets, databases and paper records
Soft skills requirements for Quality Inspector:
- Willing and able to communicate easily with Production and other QA personnel to share pertinent information regarding quality and process issues
- Able to maintain a cool, calm and collected attitude in the face of delivering and receiving negative quality and process information
- Willing and able to help raise our collective bar in terms of team performance
- Willing and able to model quality behaviors and attitudes
- Maintain standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures
Role for Quality Inspector
- Monitor and report on quality attributes of products and manufacturing processes
- Perform detailed inspections using hand-held tools and measurement devices
- Record and enter quality data into spreadsheets and databases accurately
