At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician 1 to work with Deckers Skilled in Mooresville. This role involves performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification, and repair activities on buildings, conveyors, and electrical systems. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment, working with PLC-controlled systems, pneumatic power, and high-voltage electricity.Shift Patterns

- Night shift and weekend premiums are available
- 25.16 - 26.91 USD hourly
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
- Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC
- Experience working effectively under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
- Highly motivated, a team player, and a self-starter
- Experienced with hand and power tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- 2-4 years of experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation
- 2-4 years of experience working around conveyors, pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills, and industrial electrical systems
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with a strong customer focus
- Ability to work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co-workers and managers in a cooperative, constructive manner
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance is a plus
- Conversational Spanish skills are a plus
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy industrial manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintain building facilities and conveyor systems
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards
