Batch Technician - New Albany

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Batch Technician to work with a leading candle manufacturing company in New Albany. This role is responsible for producing wax batches in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner while maintaining precise production and inventory records.


Shift patterns

• This position is first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as required.

Pay rates

• 19.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Batch Technician

• 1 to 3 years of recent manufacturing or production experience.


• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 12 months of related experience.


• Ability to follow detailed instructions, formulas, and batch sheets with high accuracy.


• Proficiency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.


• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and distinguish between colors.

Role for Batch Technician

• Follow standard formulas to accurately identify and measure components for wax batches.


• Complete all necessary production paperwork and inventory tracking documentation.


• Monitor inventory levels and alert supervision of potential shortages.


• Maintain equipment, tools, and the workspace to ensure a safe and organized environment.


• Manage changing production priorities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
