Sr Assembly Builder - Auburn Hills

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Sr Assembly Builder to work with a leading manufacturer of systems for automated production machines in Auburn Hills. This role is part of a dedicated team responsible for building complex systems from start to finish.
Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday, 2nd shift hours: 5:30pm to 2/3am, based on overtime
• Average hours: 45-56 hours per week

Pay Rates

• 28.00 - 29.00 USD hourly

Requirements

• More than 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
• More than 1 year of experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems
• Ability to read basic blueprints
• Ability to read measuring gages such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, hex key wrenches, and torque wrenches
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
• Proven tenure of more than 2 years in past positions

Desirable requirements

• Ability to operate a crane or forklift

Role

• Assist in building hydraulic and pneumatic systems for plastic injection molding
• Assemble tubular electric heaters and nozzle assemblies for plastic manifold systems
• Hone and plug manifolds, assemble manifolds, and perform wiring tasks
• Assemble nozzles to manifolds and solder wires to heating elements
• Deburr and tap components using hand and air tools
