Requirements
Essential requirements for Forklift operator:
- Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods, inventory control with previous Forklift experience
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
Role responsibilities for Forklift operator
- Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to move inventory safely within the warehouse
- Utilize pallet wrap machines to secure goods for transport and storage
- Perform accurate inventory control and cycle counting of various products
- Read and interpret work orders to ensure correct product selection and distribution
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
