Quality Technician - Waukesha
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Quality Technician to work with a leading company in the food manufacturing sector in Waukesha. You will be working for the client in Waukesha.
Shift Patterns
- Monday - Friday 4:30am - 1pm
- Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Pay Rates
- 17.00 - 20.00 USD hourly
Requirements
As a Quality Technician you will need to have:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 yrs or older
- At least 1 year of quality control/assurance experience in a high speed food manufacturing environment
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and quality standards
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, Allergens and Personal Protective Equipment
- Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred (Word, Excel and Access)
- Basic math skills
- Detail oriented, accurate and organized
As a Quality Technician, it would be desirable to have:
- Maintain respectful communication with coworkers at all levels within the organization
- Ability to problem-solve and identify problems or irregularities for early resolution
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to determine root cause of issues and diligently apply corrective action
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with employees, verbally and in writing
- Proactive mind-set and flexibility are important as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize work under pressure
Role of a Quality Technician Warehouse Associate
- Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Document inspection results and report any deviations from specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
