Facilities Technician - Irvine
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Facilities Technician to work with a leading company in the medical device sector in Irvine. This role is essential for maintaining the physical office environment and ensuring all equipment operates at peak performance to support our daily operations.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
Pay Rates:
- 24.00 - 29.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Facilities Technician:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing maintenance
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a manufacturing, medical device, or regulated environment
Desirable Requirements for Facilities Technician:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective contractor supervision
Role for Facilities Technician:
- Maintain, repair, and renovate the physical office environment through tool use and contractor supervision
- Perform regular quality checks on equipment to ensure compliance with preventive maintenance requirements
- Assist in office reorganization, including furniture and equipment moves
- Install and maintain ventilation, refrigeration, and machinery systems
- Create and manage inspection and repair schedules
