At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operator Quality Control to work with a leading company in the automotive sector in Greer. The role involves executing various production stages on an assembly line or within small teams. Duties are clearly defined and subject to close oversight, making the position suitable for those with minimal previous experience or specialized knowledge.Shift Patterns
- Must train on 1st shift for a week.
- Night Shift is currently 7:00 PM - 2:00 AM and will eventually move to Monday - Friday 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM.
- 19.00 USD hourly
- Foundational understanding of production technologies and processes.
- Familiarity with quality measurement tools, such as calipers.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to Standard Process Instructions.
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of this position, including reaching items stored at heights up to 5 feet.
- Must not have worked at the BMW Plant previously as rehires are not accepted at this time.
- Must be able to stand for the entirety of the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Physical ability to operate lift equipment with a minimum reach height of 68 inches.
- Conduct inspections on parts, components, and finished products following established work instructions.
- Perform precise gap and flushness evaluations.
- Manage the loading and unloading of modules from storage racks.
- Identify and escalate potential non-conformities through the formal escalation protocol.
- Assist with first-off/last-off testing and the return of inspected components to production lines.
