CNC Operator
We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves skilled work in the fabrication, assembly, of a variety of metal parts and tools. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability, precision, and a commitment to producing high quality work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
CNC Mill OR CNC Lathe experience will be considered
Fabricate metal parts and tools
Milling, lathe, and CNC machining work
Set up, operate, adjust, clean, and store machinist tools and equipment
Read gauges, calipers and micrometers
Verify work pieces meet specifications and quality standards using precision measuring tools
Perform tool changeovers and small adjustments
Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop math, metal properties, and machining procedures
Maintain shop organization and cleanliness
Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with typical machine shop equipment (lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, etc.)
Basic computer skills and general inspection knowledge
Strong understanding of shop math
Ability to produce parts that consistently meet quality and quantity expectations
Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and perform manual dexterity tasks
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment and multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CNC setup, and operation
Strong communication skills (written and oral)
