Forklift Operator - Greenwood

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading foundry in Greenwood. This role is essential for the safe and efficient transportation of raw materials, heavy molds, and finished castings within a high-temperature, industrial environment.
Shift Patterns:

• 6:45pm - 7:00am
• 2-2-3 schedule 12hrs shifts 2 on, 2 off, 3 on.

Pay Rates:

• 20.75 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Safely transport raw materials, molten metal ladles (if trained), molds, and finished castings throughout the foundry and to shipping areas.
• Load and unload trailers, trucks, and rail cars, often using specialized attachments such as clamps or rotators to secure heavy loads.
• Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanners to log inventory, ensure accurate counts of outgoing products, and update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment (fluid levels, battery charging) and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Role for Forklift Operator:

• Operate material handling equipment safely within a demanding industrial setting.
• Ensure timely movement of production materials to support foundry operations.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and equipment handling guidelines.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and update system records as required.

Location: Greenwood. This position is based in a key industrial area, providing a stable work environment.
